We are both feeling very spoiled right now and its not even Christmas yet! The lovely lades at Luxley Communications have gifted us some rather exciting hair tools which we’ve been having fun playing around with. They couldn’t have arrived at a better time – with lots of christmas do’s coming up we know we are going to get lots of use from styling our hair with the tools.
The InStyler MAX
The first product to arrive was the InStyler MAX – a 2 way rotating iron which claims to straighten better than a flat iron, it also offers the ability to create loose curls and beachy waves. Up until now I have always used my GHD hair straighteners to both straighten and curl my hair and it does the trick but I do find that I tend to lose a lot of volume using them as my hair is already very fine. The InStyler MAX states that it can create an effortless blowout look that is full of volume so I was excited to see whether it lived up to expectations.
Features Of The InStyler MAX
• Heated Rotating Barrel
• 2-Way Rotation
• Tourmaline Ceramic Floating Plate
• 4 Heat Settings up to 425°F
• Ionic Bristles
• Automatic Shut Off
• Professional Swivel Cord
• Accessories Included: Thermal Guard, Heat Mat, Removable Cool Tip
Get The Look
To create this look on Lily I wrapped the sections of hair around the barrel and closed the InStyler MAX holding it in place for around 10 seconds. At first I found it a bit fiddly but soon got used to it. Once I had finished curling Lily’s hair I brushed one side through with a paddle brush and pinned it back with bobby pins to create a bit of a 40’s glamour vibe. We filmed the look (below) so give it a watch to see the InStyler MAX in action. We are also running an exciting giveaway on our YouTube channel where one of our lovely subscribers will win an InStyler GLOSSIE so make sure you watch to the end to find out how to enter! Good luck lovelies!
I’m really impressed with the InStyler MAX, tight curls look silly on me so I am really glad that this tool creates such a loose curl, It also leaves the hair looking shiny and doesn’t dry it out or make it look frizzy which is something that tends to happen when I use my straighteners to curl my hair.
Have you used any of the InStyler products? Will you be adding any to your Christmas wish-list?
