I love a bit of a pamper, so when I saw the Body Shop Spa of the world collection, I couldn’t resist picking a few bits up which included the Egyptian Milk and Honey Bath £15, after the sales assistant told me it leaves you feeling like you are floating on air.
What the Body Shop say about the product
“Inspired by the indulgent milk and honey bath of Cleopatra herself, our recipe of three oil extracts leaves skin feeling luxuriously smooth. Use this pampering bath milk as part of our relaxing ritual when you’re in need of a fast-track to tranquillity.”
The powder comes in a fabric pouch, complete with a cute wooden scoop. I think that it looks very luxurious and is the sort of thing you would expect to see in a spa. The packaging is much more elegant than a plastic bottle and looks lovely in the bathroom.
Egyptian Milk and Honey Bath comes as a powder which transforms in to a milk once added to the water. It smells incredibly luxurious and creates a feeling of relaxation. I have been lighting candles and reading a book to really take time to relax. A light scent stays on the skin afterwards and definitely gives the feeling of an ‘at home’ spa treatment. My skin is very dry and sensitive and can sting with some bath products but it doesn’t at all with this.
I will definitely be stocking up on this product. Although the Egyptian Milk and Honey Bath is quite expensive for something that will only last for 4 or 5 baths, it is a lovely way of winding down after a stressful day and taking time out.
I would definitely recommend it as a gift for someone of for a weekly pamper for yourself.
