Six Senses Samui

After a busy few days in Bangkok we took a 45 minute flight to the beautiful island of Koh Samui for a week of pure relaxation at the Six Senses Samui. If you are thinking of booking a trip to Thailand in the near future here are a few things Six Senses Samui had to offer.

Movies Under The Stars

I’d always wanted to go to an open air cinema and what better way to watch one of my favourite films (500 days of Summer) than an intimate candlelit setting under the stars overlooking the sea, eating popcorn in beautiful Koh Samui. The service was complimentary with places for up to 8 people and guests can even hire the screen to play their favourite movie to watch with their family.

Dining on the Rock

There are 2 restaurants at the hotel. Dining on the Hill offers all day dining but their award-winning signature restaurant Dining on the Rock offers something a little more special, of course it is quite a bit more pricey but totally worth it if you are celebrating a special occasion during your stay. The presentation was incredible and they even offer wine pairings alongside your courses. Book your table for just before the sunsets and admire the view.

Sunset Cocktails

Six Senses Samui really does know how to treat its guests. Another complimentary experience where they’ve created a menu of delicious cocktails, beers and wines to watch the sunset from the hill overlooking the sea. they also laid on nibbles for guests to enjoy whilst they took in the breathtaking sights.

Thai Massage

I’d heard good things about Thai massages and we were lucky to receive a complimentary foot massage as part of one of the perks of booking through Mr & Mrs Smith. I managed to sunburn both feet on day one in Koh Samui so they were definitely in need of a bit of TLC by the end of the holiday and it was such a relaxing experience. We even received a short head and shoulder massage at the end of it which felt incredible.

Wellness

Six Senses Samui offers complimentary yoga classes in the mornings and guests can also pay for other activities such as pilates, reiki, thai boxing and kayaking to a nearby island. There is also a gym onsite as well as an infinity pool. Most of the villas also have their own private pools too.

If you are looking for a relaxing retreat this Summer make sure to check Six Senses Samui out.
