Glo & Ray Makeup

Glo & Ray are another fabulous brand that I got to meet at the Blogosphere Valentine’s Tea Party. All three of us at Beauty at Brunch received goody bags after the event and Glo & Ray generously gifted everyone with three full sized products to try out. Although unfamiliar with the brand before the event, I am so pleased to have found them and think I have definitely found a few new makeup favourites.

Glo & Ray

“Glo & Ray is a British company which draws inspiration from the natural wonder of light. The name Glo & Ray is derived from ‘Glo’, a gentle luminance; and ‘Ray’, a vibrant beam of light. We look to harness each woman’s natural radiance to deliver a stunning collection designed to illuminate individual beauty”

Products

Colour Correction Tinted Makeup Base £12.00

The makeup base is pale pink in colour and instantly helps to improve the appearance of the skin texture. Pink colour correctors help to brighten the skin, giving it a healthy glow. The product sinks in easily and helps to hydrate the skin.

Perfect Arch Sculpting Brow Pencil £6.90

This brow duo comes with a soft pencil on one end and a brush on the other. The pencil is tapered which makes it easy to create hair like strokes and define the brows. The handy brush on the opposite end helps to blend the product for a natural finish.

Longwear Precision Liquid Eyeliner £6.90

Longwear precision eyeliner has a flexible thin tip which makes it easy to work right up close to the lash line. The product stays put all day and is extremely pigmented.

Sky Breaker Lasting Silky Eyeliner – Summer Sky £5.50

I love experimenting with makeup so this sky blue was a fun addition to try out. Blue eyeshadow is one of the key trends for spring/summer 2017, so this is a fun way to add a touch of colour without looking like you are from the 80’s.

Air Extreme Volume Mascara £12.50

Our Dani has been using this mascara for weeks and finds it perfect for helping to curl and add definition to her naturally straight lashes. She usually struggles to find mascara which lifts her lashes so this is definitely a winner for her!

Infinite Lash Definition Mascara£10.50

I have been using this mascara for my lower lashes. The brush is ultra thin, so I don’t end up getting mascara on the skin under my eyes like I usually do with a thicker brush.

La Amo Creamy Shimmer Lip Colour – Marigold £12.00

This lipstick is another easy way to inject a bit of colour in to your look. It feels hydrating on the lips and is comfortable to wear. The shade Marigold is a bright orangey red which I will be wearing throughout summer.

I am so grateful to Glo & Ray for the opportunity to try out their products. My favourites were the Infinite Lash Definition Mascara and the Perfect Arch Sculpting Brow Pencil.

Have you tried any Glo & Ray products? Which ones are your favourites?
